Ready, Set, Grow Child Care Center's has been providing high quality child care at its First Street location on Corning's Southside since 1971! Through the years, the center has evolved to become a prime choice for local families who seek the very best in early childhood programming. Ready, Set, Grow Child Care Center is more than a place; it's a community of teachers, parents and children from all walks of life who build relationships and memories as they celebrate each child's journey together.

The center provides high quality care and education to infants, toddlers and preschool age children (aged 6 weeks to 5 years).

Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack are served daily. Parents are always welcome to visit their child at the center during the day.

Ready, Set, Grow offers an environment that far exceeds standards for health, safety and programming.

Brightly lit classrooms are designed for young children's play and learning. Each room is equipped with: right-size furniture, nap mats, bathrooms, hand-washing sinks, play and learning materials, storage cubbies for personal belongings, and teacher work space.

Daily activities extend beyond the core of the classroom. We often bring the outdoors inside, and opportunities for learning, playing and growing are found in a variety of nooks and crannies (indoors and out) dedicated for large motor, dramatic and quiet play. Here, there is always a cozy corner to curl up in with a pillow and a favorite book to read over and over or a new favorite to be opened.

Our location lends itself beautifully to giving children a taste of community life. We make frequent trips to neighboring parks, the library, Market Street and other local attractions. Plus, our proximity to downtown Corning workplaces means parents are never far from their little ones during the work day.
